Office-based opioid treatment (OBOT) provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid use disorder (OUD) in a doctor’s office or other clinical setting. This means that patients can receive treatment for OUD without having to go to a methadone clinic.

The medications used in OBOT at our office are buprenorphine (Suboxone, Subutex). These medications can help reduce cravings for opioids and withdrawal symptoms and can make it easier for patients to stay in treatment and avoid relapse.
